I've seen outside of Asia barren,
Caucasian far edge, valley burned,
Circassian dwelling wild herds,

Entwined with a crown of clouds volatile,
And Trans-Kuban plains!
Horrible edge Wonderland!.. there are hot springs
Simmer in the hot rocks,
blessed jet!
Hope faithful disease exhausted.
My eyes met near the marvelous coasts
wilted boys, apostates peers,
On flour secret Kipridy convicted,
And the young warriors in the early crutches,
And the frail elderly in the sad gray hair.
